My first post.....

God, I hope I am working this thing properly. Honestly, I had no clue what a blog was. Only recently did I realize that it's a journal of sorts. So I am going to give it a shot. This is for me and for you. A chronicle of my journey through Bangladesh. It is meant to allow you guys to keep in touch with me. So no long emails, b.c who really reads those things anyways?

Anyhow, I got a Fulbright grant. I never thought that was possible. But someone, somewhere thought I would be a good choice for this program. So I applied to Bangladesh (BD) and many months later, I got it.
